2004 - OMBAC World Championships Bat Ruling and Enforcement. Rules for 2004 and forward OMBAC OTL tournaments. All bats used in any OMBAC OTL tournament shall comply with the following rules:

1. All bats shall be made of wood or a single common metal, such as aluminum.

2. No composite or alloy metal bats are allowed.

3. No titanium, platinum, or other exotic metal bats are allowed.

4. Metal bats shall be of single wall construction (no dual or multi-wall bats, or exterior shell bats are allowed).

5. An approved bat must display an Official Softball label.

6. Bats that have been tampered with, altered, or painted (including aftermarket labels) are not allowed.

7. No bat may exceed a rating of 120 BPF (bat performance factor). The following bats are not allowed for 2004 OTL tournament play:
