Started in 2011, if you let your membership "lapse" (not renewed by March 31st), there will be an additional $5pp admin charge to become a member again. So, if you never lapse, you always pay less.
New members will be $5 more per person the first year that they join.

RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
I hereby release and promise to hold the OTLPA and the City of San Diego (COSD) harmless from any and all claims, actions, demands, rights, damages, costs, expenses or compensation for any injury to myself, my own personal property or any personal property in which I may have an interest, while I am participating in an OTLPA event or activity during the OTL season. I intend this release to be construed as broadly as possibly under California law, and if any part of it is held to be invalid or unenforceable, I agree that the remaining parts will remain effective.
I am fully aware of the risks and safety hazards, which are inherent in the sport of over-the-line and related activities and I voluntarily assume them.
I understand the OTLPA is a non-profit organization, staffed entirely by volunteers and operated for the benefit of its members and does not maintain liability insurance (or a reserve for liability coverage) for any of its events and/or activities.
This Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be binding on my heirs, executive administration, successors, assigns and transferees and shall inure to the benefit of OTLPA or the COSD or its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, attorneys, successors, assigns and any other individual and/or entity affiliated with the OTLPA of COSD.
By membership, I agree to this Release automatically.
Your OTLPA membership supports the OTLPA and the functions and tournaments it sponsors. As a player and member, you will receive reduced tournament fees, newsletters, eBlast app links, Membership Directory, login to private MEMBERS ONLY area of website, last minute email updates and access to the OTLPA Tent at OMBAC. Without your membership, many OTL tournaments would not be possible. Thank you for your membership and participation in the OTLPA.

RENEWING MEMBERS ONLY:
ATTENTION RENEWING MEMBERS!
You have let your membership "lapse" and you are now past the renewal grace-period deadline of March 31st, and we've taken you OFF our database and our eBlasts. If you wish to renew, you have to pay the NEW member price of $25 now. That extra $5 is now an admin fee for the extra work of putting all your info back into the database and catching you up. Hint: If you never let your dues lapse, it will always be $5 less for you to renew.
STARTED 2011, New Members price will be different from Renewing members price. Members who don't keep current, and let their dues lapse a year or two or more, will have to sign up as NEW when they finally get around to it again. If you are current with renewing, price will not increase. You must renew by MARCH 31st each year.
